June-July 2010
Sat 24th July
Very slow at updating the news lately but busy at work and we are now at Leeds waiting for gundog day. Took the girls out for a walk on Tuesday evening and came across the Red Deer stag on the front page! Thought he would get up and leave but we got really close and he did not seem bothered at all! Showing Ola and Frankie tomorrow and will be home again on Monday.
Tue 6th July
Its been a busy couple of weeks and we are now at East Of England waiting for the start of the show. At Blackpool we had Judge Bob Jackjson and Angela showed Ola. Pleased to get 3rd in minor puppy. Libby was shown by Sandy Hall as I was too busy at work and she got 2nd in Junior. Frankie was 5th in limit so not a bad weekend at all. On to Windsor and the weather was hot enough to crack the paving flags!. Angela only showed Ola and, again, 3rd place. Hope to put some new pics up in the next couple of days.
Wed 23rd June
Cheshire County today under judge Carol Woods. Great day for us with Ola second in puppy, Libby first in junior and Frankie first in open and BOB. Weather is really good and we look forward to Blackpool at the weekend.
Sun 20th June
Border Union show today and Ola got 2nd place in puppy under judge Barbara Ganarin. Really pleased with her first 2 shows and now on to Blackpool with Cheshire county in mid week.
Mon 14th June
Northern Springer breed show at the weekend under Judge Sally Lesley Ola started off her show career with 4th in minor puppy and Libby was last in Junior................. Rained all day. We left early. Probably the best decision we made that day!!!! Off to Border Union this weekend then on to Blackpool with the caravan.
Tues 8th June
Back home from our trip to Southern Counties and not too bad a day with Libby 3rd in junior and a 5th in limit with Frankie who spent the whole time on 2 legs but she has not been out since last year so she was a bit of a handfull !! Back in the cards with a 3rd place was Dede. Weather was absolutely brilliant for us but not so good for the dogs I think. Great to see a Red Kite flying over the site although we did worry what he was looking for !! Apparently they are becoming quite common in the area and they don't seem bothered by people at all.
