13th February

On Saturday Rachael ( Hunterheck Song Bird with Tigerrock) and Catriona again did well at Ashington & District limited show going reserve best puppy in show under judge Paul Glaholm well done again. Libby was second in her class (apparently the handler was at fault)( ME!) Ola won her class but did not get any further. I did the yearly stewarding duties at Northumberland & Durham open on Sunday. A good entry of over 90 but it took till 6.30 to complete judging!! Connie is looking quite big now and is not being allowed to charge around with the rest much to her disgust. She has a way of letting you just trip over her lead as you are walking just to remind you.

6th February

Northern Counties Gundog on Sunday and well done to Rachael (Hunterheck Songbird) and Catriona who flew the flag for Hunterheck going best puppy in breed then on to Best Puppy in Show under judge Mrs M McBurnie. 

28th January
Sorry its been so long since an update but not much has been happening show wise here. Holly is looking really well and I have added a page for her and some photo's. We took her for her first walk on the beach a couple of days ago and it did not seem to phase her at all but she still does not like travelling! Just carrying her to the van starts her off drooling.We are both going over to Border Counties on Sunday so we may have something to write after that (some chance) One good piece of news Connie has been to the vets and he thinks she is in whelp so babies due end of February start of March fingers crossed.

January 5th

Well a new year has started and Gwen and Viv (Hollies sisters) have left for their new homes in Bermuda. The way the weather is I wish I'd gone with them! Things are a bit quieter here without them but Holly is in with her sister Libby and they get on really well. No shows entered as we missed the entries for Boston and Manchester but we might have a run down on the day for a wander around. Got an email from Wendy who owns Brodie ( Hunterheck Antigonus) seems he has signed for the local football league team Just remains to say hope you all have a Happy, healthy and prosperous new year.

 
December 19th
 
Had a nice day out at Sunderland and District show. We were not entered but it was nice to see Catriona's Hunterheck Song Bird go BP under judge Helen Gilroy then, despite being handicapped by my handling, go on to win the puppy group under judge Frank Gilroy, ( good job we swapped over before I messed it up totally !!! ) Well done to them both.

December 12th

Not a lot happening show wise and Sugars babies are all spoken for or already in there new homes. Hunterheck Name of the Game ( Harry) has moved to kennel Tiggerrock and Catriona says he is doing really well. And hunterheck Lady of the Lake ( Lulu or Holly not decided which yet) is staying with us. Her two sisters will be with us till the 30th and then we will be back to normal (sort of) again. I will get some pictures done of them all and a new page for them as soon as I can now that I am back home again for good ( I'm like a dog with two tails don't know which one to wag!!!) Looking forward to Christmas and getting out into the ring again. One bit of show news was under judge Margaret Jamieson at North of England Spaniel Frankie won the open stakes and the members stakes £5 prize money!!! Working on a Christmas picture for the front page won't be long hopefully
