DECEMBER - JANUARY

Sun 31st January

Been a bit hectic here for the last few days so a bit late updating things here. Manchester was great fun seems like ages since seeing people. Got 4th with Libby in her last puppy class and 4th in post grad with Dede which at 20 mths and in a class of 11 others it wasn't too bad but she is still not keen to stand for me!

Angela judged at Border Counties today and 11 dogs present her BOB was Rosannoch Eihwaz and he then went on to be Group 3 so well done to Edith. BP was Rosannoch Ansuz. Angela thanks all who exhibited under her. Frankies babies have all moved on to their new homes and we wish them all well.

Sun 17th January

Well the snow has all gone and things are back to normal (well as normal as they ever are here anyway !) No show news again but its getting closer to Manchester so Angela is busy getting Libby ready. Crufts entries went off on time and Frankies puppies are all thriving...and i've added some new pictures to the gallery today.

Sat 9th January

The freezing weather continues up here and the dogs are having a great time. No shows entered for a while so at least we don't need to worry about getting the van out!. Shooting cancelled again Just as well as about a foot of snow means we have been stuck more times than I can remember. Frankies pups are eating well and looking great and I've put some new pics on the gallery yesterday.

Sun 3rd January

Well thats the end of 2009 and we look forward to 2010 and wish all our friends and fellow exhbitors a Happy New Year!! We are looking forward to the new show season and having our new babies out and about. No show news at the moment but, as you can see from the front page, we have snow and have had for the past 16 days! At least the dogs are all enjoying it even if we aren't. Angela is busy taking down the decorations and it really makes the room look bare! Puppies are 4 weeks on Monday and we will get some new pics of them on the page hopefully.

Sun December 27th

Had a great Christmas Day with the boys and family round for lunch. On Boxing day I took Connie and Sugar out for a days beating in Mitford and they both enjoyed themselves and behaved perfectly. Been asked back again on monday at the other shoot that is run by the same keeper so I think I'll try Dede this time. Should be fun!! No shows for a while but Frankies babies are up and about and keeping us all busy.

Mon December 21st

Sunderland C.S on Sunday and a change of judge due to the weather. Got 3rd in ess open with Libby and best puppy . Did not get placed in the group but never mind BOB went to Hannah Hunterheck Hermione with Tigerrock Well done Catriona. Puppies are up on their feet and eyes open and looking great. I'll get some pictures done today probably and put them up later.

Wed December 16

Pups are now over a week old and doing great and look very promising. Frankie is a very good mother and is looking after them very well. Not much other news really heard back from Spices babies new owners and they seem to be settling in but Billie is still not happy at being kept out of the front room! Enjoyed a days Pheasant shooting on Saturday. Didn't take any dogs just in case they brought anything back with them. Been asked back on Boxing Day that should work off some of the turkey and trimmings.... Angela is judging at Tweedmouth on Saturday they are pleased with the entry of over 90 dogs.

Thur December 10

Had a couple of sleepless nights. Frankie thinks the new puppies are great and cleans them at every possible moment. The poor things never get a minutes peace but they are all looking great and we are very pleased with them. Billie is not very chuffed though as she is not allowed in and she has taken to howling at the patio windows. Beth knows that there are babies in the house and tries to sneak back in for a peek but I don't think Frankie would let even her mum in.Decided not to go to LKA on saturday as I've been asked to do some beating on the local shoot and, as Angela thinks I need the exercise, will be wandering around the fields instead. At least we get lunch and a pint afterwards!

Tue December 8

Frankies puppies arrived last night 3 boys and 4 girls. All doing well and I'll put some pics on the current litters page sometime today.

Sat December 5

No shows again this weekend and a days beating on the Duke of Northumberlands estate with Dede and Sugar had to be cancelled due to the bad weather! too wet apparently. Frankie continues to dig holes in the garden and is now looking like a vietnamese pot bellied pig! Not long to go now. The last of Spices babies goes to his new home on Sunday and his sister, Hunterheck Billie Jean, will move in with the rest of the hooligans. She has spent the last couple of weeks winding them up from the other side of the kennel door so what is she going to think when she is in there with them??? ...
